Oklahoma FAQ

Oklahoma does not have an official list of qualifying medical conditions. Instead, it is up to the discretion of the licensed physician. If the provider believes that medical cannabis could benefit your health, they may issue a recommendation.

Here’s a step-by-step guide:

    1. Submit the Intake Form: Provide your basic information and book an appointment.

    2. Consult a Licensed Provider: Have a video consultation with a certified healthcare professional.

    3. Receive Your Recommendation: If approved, you’ll receive your physician’s recommendation the same day.

    4. Apply to OMMA: Use the recommendation to complete your application with the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Authority (OMMA). You’ll need to include proof of residency and a valid ID.

  • Doctor Consultation: Starting at $25
  • OMMA Application Fees:

    • Standard Fee: $100 + $4.30 processing fee (Total: $104.30)

    • Reduced Fee: $20 + $2.50 processing fee (Total: $22.50)
Eligibility for reduced fees includes participation in Medicaid (SoonerCare), Medicare, or verified 100% disabled veteran status.

Registered patients in Oklahoma are allowed to:

  • Carry up to 3 ounces of cannabis on their person

  • Keep up to 8 ounces at home

  • Grow up to 6 mature cannabis plants
